This guide is designed for users of the Hyper HS5800 and Google's Find My Device app. The Hyper HS5800 can be disabled to stop it from sharing its location. Once disabled, it will no longer report to Google's Find My Device network, and the owner won't receive location updates. 

If you receive a notification on your Android device that the Hyper HS5800 has been detected nearby, and you are unfamiliar with this device, you can make the Hyper HS5800 ring using the system notification you received. After locating the item, follow the steps below to disable it. Once disabled, the device will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts and the owner will not receive any updates on its location. 

 

 

Steps to Disable the Hyper HS5800: 

1. Locate the Button  
2. Find the button near the center of the Hyper HS5800. 
3. Press and Hold  
4. Press and hold the button for about 15 seconds. Then, the device will emit beeps 2 times at 1-second intervals. 
5. Release to Disable  
6. After about 15 seconds, release the button. The Hyper HS5800 will now be disabled and stop sharing its location. 

Note: Once disabled, the device will no longer communicate with the Find My Device network. 

 

 

How to Re-enable the Hyper HS5800 

To re-enable your Hyper HS5800, simply perform a short press on the device's button. Upon successful reactivation, the device will emit two consecutive beeps, confirming that it has been re-enabled and has automatically reconnected to your device.
