I don't really take it while travelling (too heavy) but I can imagine it coming in useful if you expect you will be away from an outlet for a while. I use it while around the house when I don't want to be tethered to an outlet.  It actually charges your computer faster than a regular power adaptor. Plus the Hypermac is nice and toasty on your feet.

Hypermac stopped holding a charge about 11 months after purchase, but I exchanged it during the warranty period and received the fixed product back quickly.

Leaving the house for some head-space doesn't mean I can't take my gear and be creative wherever I go.
Designing and animating on the go, has never been so fun!

Working within a 100 mile radius, I never worry about running out of juice with my Macbook Pro. I am now a non-stop task completing machine! :D

After hearing about the HyperMac External Battery for the MacBook family on Engadget.com I knew it would be the perfect companion for my new MacBook Pro I'll be bringing with me on my travels in the coming weeks.

Not only would this travel sized (100Wh model) device be perfect for my plane ride, but would also give me the freedom to compute without having to worry about where the nearest power outlet is. Whether around the airport or on the beach. This device works as advertised and is truly plug and play.

On the side of craftsmanship, the device is made of high quality plastics and aluminum and feels sturdy in my hand. I feel that it will surely hold up to the bumps and jolts of everyday travel while in and out of my computer case.

To close I would defiantly recommend this product to any road warrior or even just the average consumer that likes to use their MacBook without the worries of running out of juice while on the move.

Four stars and two thumbs up from me!
